The Pumpkin Patch

We headed to the pumpkin patch and had a fun time, though it would have been better if we hadn't gotten rained on and then stuck in the muddy parking lot! It was one of those things you laugh about afterwards. Thank goodness for the farmers who dug us out/pushed us out of the mud!

Farmer Greg showed us lots of pumpkins and gourds. He's holding an "apple" gourd. The green one in the center is a gooseneck gourd because it looks like a goose. It's sitting on a light colored "neck" pumpkin which is what they use for pumpkin pie!

 We learned that Lily loves pumpkins!

Brielle thinks all the photos of her from a couple years ago are Lily. She doesn't believe us when we say, "that's not Lily, it's baby Brielle!" Here's Lily wearing the same outfit Brielle wore in our family photos taken November 2011.
