Please Touch Museum

The next day of vacation we went to the Please Touch museum, also located in Fairmount park (it's a huge place, the zoo and art museum are there too)
The museum is in one of the buildings built for the Centennial celebration of the United States. It's massive and now it's a giant children's museum! We had a great time and we highly recommend it for families to visit. One of the things I appreciated was that in each section of the museum there would be a space for infants and toddlers to play safely, besides all the other stuff the older kids would enjoy. The girls had blast! We took a lot of pictures.

This replica of the Statue of Liberty's torch is made out of toys! The rotunda was beautiful!

The first thing we did and perhaps most loved was the water ways room. Lily liked playing with the rubber ducks, and Brielle could send boats down the river.

These lily pads each made a different sound when you stepped on them

 The budding artist

Both girls loved the trolley since it's the highlight of Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood

 Driving the bus

and a race car!
Grocery shopping at the store and working the register. This was super fun

Brielle driving the ambulance, Lily rocking a baby in the newborn nursery. The little town had the store, a hospital, a McDonald's, a movie studio, a shoe store, a house with garden, a construction site, and a train station.

Brielle built this and we were impressed since we don't have any blocks like this for her to practice with.
What a fun day! We drove home that afternoon and the girls slept the whole way, they were played out!

Wow, what an incredible museum and so beautiful too! Loved the budding artist photo of Lily and also that of her holding the baby doll. Brielle looked like she was having a great time with the lily pads, driving the bus and at the supermarket. Her block building is pretty amazing too!
