DC temple trip
On Thursday we took a trip up to the temple in Washington DC. It is enormous and so beautiful! We liked that there's no center aisle in the ordinance room, so we could sit next to each other!
The sun was really bright, and the pavement and temple reflect like crazy, so that's why we're squinting a lot. Afterwards we ate at a nice diner with yummy sandwiches and headed home. We're not used to a 2 1/2 hour drive just to get to the temple, but it's worth it and we hope to be able to go regularly!

Uh-huh, get used to that long temple drive! We used to have to do a 3.5 hour drive to get to the Nauvoo temple when we lived in Illinois. But it sure makes your trip special... even special enough to take pictures that you might not have taken otherwise.
I love love that temple but have only been outside. I would love to sit next to John during a session. How cool!
