The kids and I went to the farm show!
They make cute bunnies :) we got to pet a lot of bunnies, the mini Rex breed was our favorite
This cool display made entirely from apples!
This year's butter sculpture showed a farm house interior with all the bounty from the farm. Lily loved the pig!
Lily had 90s day at school. This is what we came up with. She's wearing my 90s jean jacket that I decorated with buttons.
For reference here's what I looked like at that age!
Lily auditioned for and got in to county band. They did a great job!
Afterwards we went and got milkshakes to celebrate!
Another baking success from Brielle's cookbook. This was a jam cookie tart
For my birthday we went to Red Robin
Brielle was in her school play, "The Ever After". She played the part of a little kid in a commercial about the tooth fairy
Our Relief Society Presidency (plus one other sister) got to attend the temple together. It was great to spend some time together in that holy place.
We also went as a family so Lily could do proxy baptisms for the first time. That was super special!
Brielle went to her first church dance, and a bunch of girls got ready together. She's growing up!
Lily's Science Fair project
It went pretty well! She surveyed people to see how effective the covid vaccine/booster is. The incidence of sickness was about the same whether people had the booster or not, at least in her small sample size.
Everyone got medals and certificates!
Lily also campaigned for the position of mayor of BizTown. She worked really hard to get the votes and she won! When her group of 4 fifth grade classes went to Biz Town she got to help run things and choose the best businesses and employees. She had a lot of fun.
