April

We enjoyed General Conference this year! We started the day at soccer games, then got home to watch and listen. The girls worked hard on coloring the ties of the speakers, Brielle ended up using the tie outline for a whole body portrait of the speakers and some were really cute!

The next weekend I had my Tchaikovsky concert and it went really well. The guest pianist did a magnificent job on the piano concerto, and the symphony was a big hit. The next day I was able to attend Time Out for Women which was being held in Harrisburg! It was a great day of inspiring messages and uplifting music, and I got to spend some time with a few gals from the stake too. Brandon took the kids to the annual township egg hunt and then to Hershey Park!

We dyed eggs using Kool-Aid and they worked great!

We also made Peep Houses which was super fun. I think we'll do it every year!

Lily got her dance photo taken, she's very excited about her costume and the recital coming up on June 1.

Brandon was working a lot the next week. We went to a playgroup Easter egg hunt and cupcake decorating party

and on Saturday we took a nature walk.

see the frog we discovered?

Getting ready to make cookies by playing with the cookie cutters

Some of our masterpieces!

We had a nice Easter dinner of Ham, twice baked potatoes, asparagus, deviled eggs, rolls, fruit salad, and cookies! Our friend Susan joined us and brought some of the dinner as well as some chocolate bunnies!
