Carter is a year and a half! Can't believe how fast time is going and how big he is getting.
He's right at 50th percentile for size and was a model patient at his checkup.
He has done well in nursery the two Sundays he's gone....I think he's thrilled to get to play and move. We've learned from transitioning the girls to nursery that it's easier if Dad takes them so that's what we do with Carter. Seems to have worked like a charm!
The picture below is a little blurry, but it's true to life...he's always on the move!
He says 14 words, his favorites being bye bye and shoe. For a while we could ask him any question and he would say "yeah" in the cutest little voice! Carter you want to eat? Yeah! Carter do you want to go outside? Yeah! Carter do you want a pet dinosaur? Yeah!
He could tell by our tone of voice it was a question and knew just how to respond! He doesn't do it really anymore. Now he says "muh muh muh" to indicate he wants something or to do something or to get your attention, etc. He's starting to experience normal toddler frustration with transitions or not getting his way, but it's not too bad.
He loves juice and eating vegetables, fruits, veggie straws, and fruit snacks. He likes to read certain books over and over. He loves splashing in the tub, running around outside, finding shoes, giving high fives and hugs, dancing to music, and his nightly playtime before bed. He still naps well once a day, and consistently will nap in the carseat while I shop when the girls are both in school. He's started to fold his arms and be reverent at prayer time. For FHE last night he sang along as best he could to the song and loved hearing everyone singing together.
What a cutie! We love you Carter boy!

Happy 18 months, Carter!! We love seeing you on our Sunday chats. I bet the nursery leaders love having you each Sunday =-)
He is so cute! I can't believe he is old enough for nursery! So exciting. I think he looks a little like Brielle in one of those pictures =)
