May was filled with springtime fun. Most of these are random phone photos....
Carter loves to help clean up and sing the clean up song
He's very patient waiting during swim lessons
So silly at the pool!
The Rec Center playground got remodeled over the winter and finally opened! The kids love it and visited it after every swim lesson for a few weeks
Library selfie
Frosting face at a RS party...
We held a food drive at church and donated it all to Cocoa Packs, which provides weekend food assistance to Derry Township kids and their families. It took a few conversations for the girls to understand who the food was for and why we couldn't keep it. But it finally clicked for Lily and she said "you mean they haven't had dinner in awhile? they must be really hungry!"
Brandon and the girls made this delicious Reese's and Fudge Poke cake, it was so good, we had to give half away so we wouldn't eat it all ourselves! (recipe here)
At the school carnival....they had fun with the bounce houses, balloon swords, free stuffed animal, free popcorn, snow cones, cotton candy, face painting, carnival games
At Brielle's "meet the author" Tea Party. All the kids in her class worked in pairs to write and illustrate their own story. Then we all got to come celebrate the authors with a fancy tea party and get their autographs and look at their stories. They all did a great job and were so excited and proud!
Mrs. Zentner was such a great teacher!
Kindergarten graduation day. Way to go Brielle!
Splashing in the puddles on Memorial Day. Since his clothes are dark you can't tell how wet he is, but he got his shoes, socks, and body completely soaked!
The Med Center was lit up beautifully! Click on the photo to see it full size...
Love our country and grateful for those who died protecting it!
