We visited HersheyPark on Labor Day Weekend before it closed its full time hours, and of course had a lot of fun! We also took advantage of the weekend sales to order a new sectional sofa for the living room! We're looking forward to its delivery in 8-10 weeks (!!) and upgrading our seating. The hand-me-down sofa sleeper has been great but we'll like having something a little nicer :)
Lily started another year of preschool at Ms. Shana's. She was pretty excited to get to hold a sign like Brielle did.
Brielle started soccer and although she's not very assertive about getting to the ball, she does have a lot of fun running around. There were a couple more girls on her team, they just didn't make it to the picture day I guess.
Mama Judy came to visit and she got to tour the Philadelphia temple on the last day of the open house! Afterwards everyone went to the Please Touch Museum while Michal volunteered with the tours.
The kids of course had a wonderful time
We finally got Brielle a bike (with training wheels) for her birthday and set it up for her. She likes having the doll carrier on front. Lily kept wanting the bike for herself but quickly found she wasn't quite tall enough for it. We have fun riding down the street to the next neighborhood's little playground.
Brielle turned 6! She really wanted a Star Wars cake so we just did a Star Wars themed party. It was also pajama day at her school haha!
She has grown so much this year, and we can hardly believe it's been 6 years since we became parents! Brielle is fun loving and a good friend and playmate. She loves story time, dress up, pretending, demonstrating her math skills, doing the kick board at swim, and trying new dance techniques. She mostly loves giggling with friends and generally being goofy. She definitely loves the times when Brandon is home to play with. Happy Birthday Brielle!
We didn't get any photos with Mama Judy but we definitely had a great time with her here!
The temple was dedicated on September 18th, and we were able to attend the dedication in our building while neighbors watched the kids. It was beautiful and powerful! We're so glad to have a temple in Pennsylvania, even though it's the same distance as the DC temple haha!
Carter turned 11 months and learned to climb up (but not down) the stairs. He's very quick to climb up and always helps to get the safety gate closed once he's at the top.
