Lily turns 4!

Lily requested that two friends (actually they're two of Brielle's friends, but that's who she feels most comfortable playing with) come over for a birthday party. Her other request was a rainbow cake.

It turned out great!

She got sung to in Primary!

She got fun gifts from friends and grandparents!

She was a worn out pink ninja girl! (this was from attending a Ninja Turtles birthday party, but couldn't resist sharing it!)

Lily is a girl who knows what she wants, and can be quite stubborn at times. She frequently takes over being the boss of playtime and luckily Brielle is gracious enough to follow along most of the time. She is still pretty clingy to me, but Brandon has lots of tricks to get her to smile and have a fun time with him too. She's starting to not be so shy around others and we'll hope this next year of preschool will help her to develop even more socially and emotionally. She has progressed quite a bit (for her) in swimming, we'll keep working on it of course.  She loves to pretend, dress up, dance, play with Piggy, watch videos, eat at restaurants, help in the kitchen, and read books. We love Lily!

I would love to know how you got such vivid colors in your rainbow cake?! The ninja girl does look tired out--bet she had a great time at the party. Keep up the good work in swimming class, Lily! We love Lily too!!
