This month Brandon started his new job as an attending general cardiologist at Penn State Hershey Medical Center! It's nice that he already knows the system and the people, and will have opportunities to participate in education and provide imaging guidance for heart procedures. The first couple days were just orientation and paperwork/training. Then that weekend we packed up the moving truck and transferred everything over to our new house! We were still able to move on time despite our loan officer not getting his parts all completed for closing. So frustrating, but it all worked out in the end. After moving all the stuff in, we jumped in the car and drove to New York for Estelle's blessing day. So fun to meet Estelle and see their beautiful family! The Jefferies hosted us which is always so pleasant and the girls love playing there. And it was great to see Grandma and Grandpa, too! Eric gave a lovely blessing, at church, we had a nice outdoor lunch, and then we drove back home to Hershey! It was a lightning trip, but we're so glad we could make it to such a special day.
The happy little family
Our happy little family, plus one!
Cute baby cousins!
Carter playing in our new loft playroom
While unpacking, the girls discovered the shells we've collected on various vacations and were fascinated!
More settling into the new place
Carter turned 9 months!
We went to the ward Patriotic breakfast and the girls loved these decorated donuts. The ward really out did themselves this year with the spread, decorations, and fun entertainment. Unfortunately that night it rained so there was no traditional outdoor Symphony concert and light displays.
This blurry picture was just too funny.... Lily combined a bunch of different dress up pieces for this one of a kind ensemble!
Kara and Sorren visited while we were still in boxes. So glad a great friend could double as a great realtor! Sorren helped Carter with dinner and will be a good big brother soon.
Poor guy just couldn't take it anymore! I know how you feel kiddo.....

We were so impressed and grateful that you could make it out for Estelle's blessing day--we love being at the Jefferies' home too. we can't wait to see your new home-the upstairs loft area looks like the perfect place to play! Carter is so cute in the fireman hat! I bet after all that packing, moving, driving, etc you did feel just like Carter passed out in his high chair =-)
Love Lily's eclectic outfit--kind of reminds me of how Odie's get up when Garfield tosses stuff out of the trunk in the Halloween special =-)
