For Labor Day we went to Hershey Park
Carter and Dad got too try the Virtual Reality game for free!
Reese got her first groom and she looks so pretty!
The ward youth visited the Air and Space Museum near Dulles airport. Lots of cool airplanes and a space shuttle were on display. Here's the Enola Gay which among other missions, delivered the atomic bomb to Hiroshima.
Then we went to perform baptisms at the DC temple. What a wonderful day!
Brielle turned 14 this year and requested cinnamon rolls for her birthday treat
She and her friends celebrated at Urban Air
Reese finds funny places to nap!
Lily played with all the band students in the district for one of the first football games.
They did a great job!
The Northern Lights were visible in October! But it still was hard to see with your naked eye...looking through the camera lens worked better.
Carter did a swim clinic to get some extra practice and he had to balance a duck while he swam!
For Columbus Day weekend we went to New York City! We got tickets to see Sutton Foster in Once Upon a Mattress and it was hilarious!
We also got delicious gelato from a little place in New Jersey near our hotel
The presentation was just as impressive as the flavors!
Brielle tried out the mermaid tail at the hotel pool :)
We walked through Central Park
And got lunch and mini donuts at Chelsea Market
We also went to see Blue Man Group and Brandon got to be one of the audience volunteers!
He wore a rain suit and had paint sprayed all over him!
Afterwards we got cookies at Levain to celebrate Carter's 9th birthday!
Later that week we had friends over for cake and games!
Brandon got to go to Louisville for a work conference and toured the baseball bat factory!
The view from the hotel was beautiful!
Reese loves to visit the guinea pigs
Carter was Link for Halloween!
Our Thanksgiving spread yum!
Reese got groomed around this time and they said she was too matted so they shaved all her hair off! I was kind of upset that they didn't call me; I would have combed her out better myself to prevent such a short cut. We won't be going back to that groomer. It was so sad and she got really cold outside poor puppy!
