This post has a ton of videos sorry!
The director of Lily's preschool loves pink and flamingos. Every year they have "Pink Day" and hundred of flamingos decorate the school and they hand out cute flamingo cookies and pink lemonade. Carter loved pointing out all the flamingos and trying to count them!
The kids had a picnic in the yard. Finally a nice day this spring!
Star Wars Day (May the 4th be with you!)
The girls had their first piano recital. It was in a nice church, but the piano was digital and set behind a partition so not the ideal recital setting in my opinion. Their teacher sat next to them to provide moral support. It was a little funny that he sat with all the students, even the more advanced ones, and sometimes with the younger ones he couldn't help counting softly aloud or giving other cues! The girls did great though and of course enjoyed the refreshments afterwards! Lily is first in the video
Brandon had a department dinner/reception at a nice restaurant that we went to. The food was great, but we're not too good at socializing in large groups like that, especially since I didn't know hardly any of them and most were the older generation of doctors. The kids had a great time playing with friends at the manor...the pink blossom trees provided lots of entertainment!
Playing at the library
Love the pose!
Lily got to go to a Kindergarten preview for a couple hours. She had a great time, and a few of her preschool friends signed up for the same time slot so it was nice to have familiar faces.
The barrel train at Hilltop. I should've taken a photo of the whole thing, it's 9 or 10 barrels long! It rained the day it was scheduled to happen, so when it was nice another day all the kids (and teachers!) got to ride. Carter really wanted to also, but he just got to sit in it.
Playgroup fun
Lily's preschool graduation. She had a great year and we just love her teachers Miss Vicky
and Miss Laurie. I'm very proud of Lily and all she's learned this year.
For graduation the kids sang a few of their songs and recited all of Psalm 23!
My favorite was "I Can Only Imagine"
sorry for the long video from a poor angle but I love seeing her sing her heart out! Not a dry eye in the room after that one. One day after school her teacher commented that Lily had said she had happy tears after singing this song.
With her best school friends Sophie, Cael, Katelyn
Photo booth!
Celebrating the Reading Parade Day at Brielle's school
Each class dressed up as a different sea creature (the school's year long theme was under the sea, and the are "Fintastic Readers!") Brielle's class did Killer Whales
I helped with Brielle's end of year party too. We played some fun outdoor games including this popcorn one!
The girls also finished their ice skating course. They took two 7 week sessions and they got to invite a friend for the last class! I'm proud of the progress they've made!
Lily was invited to a birthday party at the gym, so we took the
other kids to lunch and bowling! They loved it!
Practicing our bike skills
I love the Memorial Day parade in Hershey. The marching band plays, there are cool cars, horses, fire trucks, scout troops, and the Milton Hershey School kids wear shirts with photos of alumni who died serving in the military. Of course there's candy, our treat bags at home never get empty from all the candy holidays!
We played at the park afterwards
We tried a new soft serve place and it was very good!
Everyone there was laughing at how messy Carter got

The end of school activities were so fun that I would probably have wished that school would never end!
