A bunch of phone photos to get caught up!
One cool day, before the September heat resumed. Carter loved the swing!
Playing dress up at the library
Carter got a fever/cold and didn't sleep well in the night. The next day was spent cuddling and falling asleep in strange places. That day we took Brielle to her yearly checkup and flu shot. Carter chose that moment to choke on a snack and the doctors all jumped into action. His cough sounded suspicious to them, so they gave him an albuterol treatment while we were there. The cold ran its course and he got better.
Brielle's soccer group. Only two girls teams in her age group this year, so they play against each other every week!
It was 98 degrees in the middle of September! While the girls were in school, Carter and I met some friends at the creek/pond to play. He loved it so much! I'm glad I brought his swim trunks so he could just sit down in the water and dig, pour, scoop, and splash.
What doesn't belong? Thanks Carter for putting things away...
He is obsessed with screens. We put the laptop up on the ledge to be out of reach.
He just climbed up the piano and opened it himself! 😬
After soccer practice, carrying the blanket
Reading a My Little Pony Halloween Book
Brielle liked to "play" along with the organists during General Conference
The girls did a great job coloring the speakers' ties and listening for "treat words"
It was a great General Conference! I loved Elder Andersen's, especially the sweet words about Elder Hales.
The following weekend the ward had a campout! The kids were so excited about the prospect of sleeping in sleeping bags and tents, so we figured camping with a group was the easiest way to do that without having to rely on our own limited camping skills alone. We borrowed most of the gear, and it ended up being really fun!
We got a late start so we didn't get there until after dark!
Luckily we didn't miss the sing along and s'mores :)
The girls slept great, Brandon only kind of since his sleeping mat wasn't inflated very much! I shared a separate tent with Carter. He kept rolling around and pushing on the tent walls since he wasn't confined to a crib....it took him about an hour to fall asleep. And then when I woke up congested he woke up with me so it took a while for both of us to get comfortable again.
The next morning the previous bishop and many helpers made delicious pancakes, eggs, and sausage for breakfast! It was fun to sit around the fire and chat with the family that camped next to us, explore a little bit, and play in the tents. The kids were playing down by the lake and Lily didn't see the mud puddle until too late! Her shoes and socks used to be white with polka dots...
Playdate at the farm!
Corn box was a big hit
Choosing a pumpkin
Bouncing on the friendly farm animals
Lily was very determined with the water pump duck races
A fall festival sponsored by Soccer Shots....Lily does her soccer with them and it is a great program!
Boys selfie
Petting the alpacas...they make a sweet humming sound without opening their mouths
Decorating bags
Decorating cookies
Pumpkin ring toss
Lily got cold and used Brandon's sweatshirt to snuggle up in.
Some of our friends were there too!

Autumn in Pennsylvania is the BEST!
Your family is so adorable! The picture of Carter sitting on top of the piano to get to the laptop is AMAZING! So funny!
