Legs in the air!

Valentine photo booth at the Bowling Alley

The girls love bowling, we had a good time!

Brielle had Western day at school....she was so cute! Here she is pretending to lasso something

Carter turned 5 months, sitting great with support, weighs 17 lbs, starting to try some solid foods!

St. Patrick's Day---- Lily's outfit was kinda goofy but we all had fun wearing green!

Brielle got to take her class Clifford puppy for the weekend. We took Clifford to swim lessons, shopping, Subway, and church and documented it all in his journal!

For my birthday Brandon made a delicious cake and a few days later we went to see Blue Man Group which was awesome!

It started to warm up a little and Carter got to try the swings for the first time. He loved it and would pump his little legs like crazy as he went back and forth.

Easter was chilly, but thankfully not wet so we could enjoy the township egg hunt. They have separate times for different age groups. Lily was happy just picking up a few. Brielle ended up with almost twenty! Lots of Hershey candy and a few fun prizes later, the girls were satisfied with a successful Easter egg hunt!

We also had fun decorating our own eggs

We also went to a fun pie party where we sampled lots of different pies and had another egg hunt. Some of the eggs even had coins in them wow! I brought a savory potato and bacon pie and a s'more's brownie pie. Both were delicious but the brownie pie was way underbaked in the middle! Whoops!

We had a fun April Fool’s Day, but I forgot to take pictures! grr! I prepared the girls’ cereal bowls with some food coloring in the bottom so when the milk got poured it changed colors. Their reactions were so great! They thought it was great fun to have blue and pink milk. When the girls were busy with something else I switched their dresser drawers so when they opened them they found the wrong sets of clothes! They decided this meant they had to wear each other’s clothes, so Brielle’s outfit was a little tight and Lily’s was a little long :)  For dinner I made breakfast since it was something silly (and not too complicated like other pranks I’ve seen online) and gave them juice with straws to drink. Except it was actually Jell-O! They loved that and were so surprised!

That weekend we had a wonderful General Conference. The girls did a great job listening for certain words to get a treat, and we made another pie for Brandon to take to the Priesthood Session social. Luckily there was lots there and not many people so he brought most of it home. The girls were excited they got to have some pie after all!

The girls' dance recital was a great success. We had photos taken at their dress rehearsal and then on the big day they did their numbers, got certificates and flowers, and we had snacks. They were beautiful, had a fun time, and did a great job. We're so proud of them!

Lily's 3/4 year old class, dancing to "Summer's Just Begun"

I was in a bad position for this recording. Lily is in the back right during the first part, then she switches up to the front. The other age groups come out to dance also,  Brielle is at the far left at the very end of the number.

Brielle's 5/6 class dancing to "Singin' in the Rain".  She's on the far right in the video. She loved learning how to do tap!!
