He likes to grab at his toes and will roll up onto his side. One day he rolled onto his tummy every time I laid him down! He hasn't repeated it since then :)
He will happily sit in the bumbo for a good stretch of time so I can get things done, but sometimes he just prefers to be held.
For Valentine's Brandon sent some beautiful roses and lilies and then we got a babysitter so we could go out for a yummy dinner. The girls were in bed and Carter just played happily with his new friends waiting for us to come back.
Both girls had some fun Valentine's parties at their preschools with lots of cards and goodies. I think the favorite was the heart shaped drinking straw. :) We still have Halloween and Christmas candy to finish, and now it's just been topped off with more! good grief!

I'm seriously dreading the Easter Candy, when will it stop?!! Love Carter holding the rose, he looks like such a sweet little man! Can't wait to see him. Also, Brett has been praying for Carter and Brielle lately (I know he means Lily too). He prayed last night that he can play with Brielle soon =)

Looks like you guys have been doing a lot of fun things the last few months-most of them involving food! Your family is so cute and the kids are getting so big! Congrats on the baby blessing. Love the Christmas photos on your blog and the nice Christmas card you sent. Yes, we moved back to ABQ and are really loving it.
Thanks for the Carter update--he looks like a styling' kind of guy with his vest and fancy duds! It's fun the way babies look so intently at each new thing-love how he's checking out the rose. Neat that he'll sit up in the bumbo and let Mom get things done around the house--and that he's sleeping more at night!! Way to go, Carter!
