Kicked off December with a dance recital, seeing the temple lights and hearing the DC Temple Orchestra perform!

My cousin Amy plays in the first violin section of the orchestra, so I’m glad we could arrange to go on the weekend she was performing! We met up for dinner beforehand with her family as well as Jared's family! The music was just beautiful and we got great seats. The girls managed to get through it without totally breaking down. :)

At the ward party! The girls didn't want to sit on Santa's lap. The Primary sang some songs, and the other auxiliaries each did a musical number as well. The night's favorite was "The Broken Hipsters" (aka the Bishopric) doing a Hip Hop dance!
