Christmas in New Mexico

Brandon had quite a bit of time off, so we spent Christmas in New Mexico! The first morning we were there we hung out with Sean's family and got some yummy green chile breakfast burritos. We miss New Mexican food!

We spent a quiet weekend in White Rock admiring the beautiful home improvements, organizing, decorating for Christmas, playing in the patches of snow and attending a beautiful Sacrament meeting.

Monday we spent the morning in Santa Fe at the children's museum.

 Super Brielle!

Mama Judy met up with us in Santa Fe and spent the next few days with us! It was great to all be together!

We got to go to the temple!

We read lots of books!

We had a musical program which everyone participated in, and it was lovely!

On Christmas Eve we did the Nativity play

Alana as baby Jesus. I never met a 1 year old that loved to stay on her back like Alana did, just kicking her legs and cooperating quite nicely!

Brielle was a shepherd. Tiger was a sheep

 Christmas angel Alexis

 The whole cast!

 Opening Christmas pajamas!

She loves them!

We got in Christmas pajamas then into the car to look at Christmas lights. I loved seeing whole neighborhoods lit up with the farolitos!

The tree was dwarfed by presents!

Santa came!

Waiting to go look at our stockings

The girls were pretty excited!

Beautiful Elsa dress from Grandma and Grandpa

Hooray for cousins!

It was wonderful spending Christmas all together. Our travel home was long but not too bad. The hardest part was waiting for our carseats at the baggage claim and finding out much later they were at an "oversize baggage" area just waiting for us! Lily fell asleep waiting. We were glad to get back home!
