Thanksgiving and December

We had a lovely Thanksgiving- the Dufords invited us to join them along with Brian and Jill's family from Utah and their son Bryan's family from Pittsburgh.

So many delicious pies! Chocolate, blueberry, apple, pecan, pumpkin, bananas cream, maple nutmeg!

The next couple days we dog sat Aggie. He was being cute and snuggly one afternoon

Reese got groomed and looked great!

We went to the Hotel Hershey tree lighting. It was very cold so we stayed just long enough to see the lights and have some cookies and cocoa :)

I made reindeer cookies at least four times during the month for various cookie exchanges and events. They're just so cute!

The girls nutcracker performance was amazing!
These photos were taken by Phil Ayala, click to enlarge!

These group photos you'll have to hunt to find them.
They are usually on opposite ends from each other

The kids performed in the studio Christmas recital and got to exchange gifts!

We went on an ice skating date and followed up with some yummy crepes and hot chocolate at Chocolena

We went to HersheyPark and Chocolate World to see the reindeer and the holiday show and the Candy House

Reese looking cute under the tree, though most of the time she preferred pacing under the tree to scratch her back! 😆

School got cancelled for snow early in December so the kids had fun playing

The church sponsors vending machines that support local and global charities. I volunteered at the machine a few times to help users get familiar with it. We went as a family one evening to try it out and ended up finding lots of causes to support!

Reese looking cute at her Christmas photo shoot

We worked on this beautiful puzzle all month long, Ashley made it in to an advent puzzle

Brandon was working on the inpatient consult service the week of Christmas. On Christmas day he went in early to work, rounded on all his patients, and came home by 7:30. The kids woke up before he got back so we just waited upstairs watching a Christmas movie until he was home, then we did stockings and breakfast and presents. We received many wonderful gifts from our loved ones! Carter got us these cute mugs from his school's Christmas shop. He sent some "Grandma: Like Mom with Sprinkles" mugs to both Mama Judy and Grandma

We did our New Years tree and countdown a few days early because we would be traveling on the actual days!
