Wintertime

We went to the Winter Fling! We got hot cocoa and s’mores and saw the beautiful ice sculptures, petted the alpacas, and played games. It was definitely frigid but we had a good time.

We went to the Pennsylvania Farm Show

Yummy milkshakes!

Carter is now a Sunbeam in Primary! We did a lot of learning names the first Sunday of the year.

We traveled to Alexandria to attend Orrin's baptism! A big snowstorm was forecast for the weekend so we left right after, but it was great to see everyone (including my Aunt and Uncle which had been awhile!) and share in Orrin's special day. It was also cool that his older brother Isaak could baptize him.

The girls had 1980s day at school and this is what we came up with....

Carter loves pancakes and helped me make them this time

We went to Chocolate World and one of the employees gave all the kids a coupon for a free cookie! Carter was very nice about sharing his with me :)

He does have problems with hitting and throwing....we put him in time out but it doesn't seem too effective. This time he put himself in time out for no reason.....

Lily illustrated the story of the Three Little Pigs for her favorite stuffy Piggy

Brielle's hair for Wacky Wednesday.  She also had her shirt and pants on backwards!

Visiting the library

I don't really have any photos of our snowfall, but we've had several days where they delay or cancel school. The girls have loved putting our sledding hill to good use! These several weeks Brandon has been busy helping lead the Cardiology instruction of the medical students. He's revised and given lectures, developed learning activities, and worked hard to get to know the students. We're proud of his hard work and this big career step!
