Fourth of July and Fun!

I can't remember when we took these pictures, it was close to July at least!

Playing with chalk at the Manor. We sure do miss living right under/next to so many friends.

We've enjoyed HersheyPark rides and the waterpark a few times this season.

Lily does not like the Pirate ship, but she decided she wanted to try it again. She was wailing the whole time!

Took the kids to the orchard to pick raspberries. They were so yummy but it was hot! It brought back sweet memories of picking berries at my Grandma's....

We also went inside the Farm Market and got fresh cherries, strawberries, corn, and donuts :)

July 3 was the Symphony concert at the Med Center, this time I got to play! It was hot at first, but then was pleasant and everyone had a great time. Click on the panoramic photos to get the full effect!

Everyone got free glow sticks, flags, ice cream and water!

The kids had a blast hanging out with friends!

July 4 we woke up early and went to the ward breakfast at the park. Instead of pancakes, they had tons of yummy breakfast burritos! We brought some blueberry crumb bars to share (using up some of the 40 lbs. of blueberries I received from the New Jersey co-op!)

Snuggling with Daddy

That afternoon we went to Lowe's and bought a grill! We took it home, fired it up, and had delicious hamburgers for dinner. That evening we had friends over to share our brownie flag pizza.

That night we did sparklers, put Carter to bed and watched the fireworks. The show ended after only 10 minutes because some burning debris landed and started a fire!
One of the things I've loved about the East Coast are the beautiful fireflies on summer nights. We have some dense trees/undergrowth behind our house and when we went out for sparklers, the trees were filled with little blinking lights! It was so magical, totally made up for the disappointing fireworks display 😊
