Brielle's Birthday

Brielle insisted on having a 'friends' birthday party and we had a lot of fun with it. The theme was 'birthday' (keepin' it simple!)

We played pin the candle on the cake; cake, cake, ice cream (like duck, duck, goose); had cake and ice cream and presents, and then did a punch for a prize game.

Later on her actual birthday we opened more presents from family, which she was excited for.

Brielle is growing and learning and I can't believe she's already 5! One thing I like to watch is how she plays so well with Lily (most of the time) and other younger kids. She is not a home-body, always asking me where we're going to go or what we're going to do. She's gaining more confidence as she tackles challenges like swim lessons and preschool. She likes treats, My Little Pony, making music, having playdates, playing dress up, reading books, breakfast, napping in strange locations, bouncing, Hersheypark, holidays, especially birthdays, playing games, and vacations (sleeping in her own hotel bed). She's 42 inches tall, 38 lbs, can write her name, count by 1's, 5's, and 10's, buckle her own seat, and could probably ride a bike with training wheels but we haven't gotten her one yet! We love our Brielle!
