New Mexico Trip

Brandon took a week off and we escaped the winter wasteland for some warmer weather. Traveling actually wasn't too bad even though it snowed a little in Chicago. We loved going around without full winter gear and spending time with family. The girls especially had a great time playing with Grandma and Grandpa and their cousins.

We ate lots of delicious food, but only have this one picture! Lily tried a lemon and liked it, hardly winced at all! We had some great breakfast burritos at Weck's, stuffed sopapillas with green chile at Tomasitas, pizza at Dion's, and of course Grandma's yummy home cooking! Brielle liked getting to help make the brownies.

Grandpa and Lily having a good time in the car on the way to the temple.

We also went to a music class and story time at the library, went on a date to see Frozen while the grandparents stayed with the girls, got a new phone for Brandon, rode on the Los Alamos trolley, went to the temple together for the first time in awhile, played at Brett's house, played at Grandma's house, listened to Grandpa playing the guitar, watched Disney movies and cartoons, met baby Alana, listened to the cuckoo clock, slept in, took naps, played the piano, read books, and generally had a fabulous time! Thanks NM family for making our vacation so great!
