Before we left Charlottesville we got tickets to the football game, along with several other BYU fans in the area (or greater area...there were plenty from our Hershey, PA ward who went!) We were happy to see Neil's family and spend time with them. We had a yummy barbecue, swam in the pool, got our BYU spirit on, and went to the game. We missed kickoff time, but watched the first quarter until lightning threatened. They had us leave the stadium, so we started walking back to Neil and Rebecca's place. We made it as far as one of the campus gyms when it started pouring rain. We were able to watch some volleyball games and then made it back home eventually. It continued to rain on and off that evening, so we never chanced going back to the stadium. Sad! Even worse, the Cougars lost! Oh well; we had fun playing together, we ordered pizza, and then got to attend church the next morning before heading home. It was a fun little trip!
Rebecca made the girls' adorable hair bows!
The weekend after we made another little trip to the temple. The girls had fun playing at the nearby playground and seeing the beautiful temple. It was great weather and a good experience since we hadn't been in awhile.
