This Summer in Pictures

Fourth of July in White Rock.
We helped with SnowCones, ate, watched fireworks and had a wonderful time!

Camping near the Jemez and Bandelier with the Young Women; Brandon was on call, Boo! Here's a look at the Jemez Springs.

Frijoles Canyon

The excavated pueblo

Wildlife sighting!

Our petunias are doing very well this year.
The tomato keeps getting taller but no fruit yet.

We played dress up with modest formals at a shop in town for a YW activity.
I even tried one on!

Playing tennis while Sean & Jennie came for a visit.

And we performed in our ward talent show!
Shanna and Brandon clogged (and choreographed!) and Michal played the
Orange Blossom Special. Here's a snippet from the performance:

**Edit 9-2-9: The talent show was just for fun and to share our talents with everyone. There was no judging nor prizes. However, we've been asked to take our show "on the road" to the White Rock Ward Revue in a couple weeks. Maybe we'll lobby for prizes then =)

I had no idea you were so talented, Brandon! And so is your wife...nice! This is Andrea (Whitaker), by the way.

Wow, awesome--love the new blog format, btw, and the pictures are gorgeous. But the the real showstopper is the clogging / fiddling routine--you guys rock!
